Trading Software and Market Risk Disclosure

Trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for all people. You may lose some or all of your capital. Software does not eliminate risk, and Trade Code Works does not guarantee profitability, trading results, or future performance.

Software and technical risk

Software may contain defects, configuration errors, unexpected behavior, or compatibility issues. Hardware may fail. Internet service may fail. Brokerage connections may fail. Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Orders may be rejected, delayed, partially filled, or filled differently than expected.

Trading and execution risk

Live trading can involve slippage, latency, spread changes, liquidity constraints, fast markets, and platform or broker limitations. Automated software can magnify mistakes if used without careful testing and supervision.

Backtests and simulations

Backtests, optimizations, simulations, and hypothetical results are not live trading. They may differ from live results because of data quality, assumptions, fills, latency, fees, market conditions, and configuration differences. Historical performance does not guarantee future results.

Customer responsibility

The customer controls live activation and is responsible for independent testing before using any software with live capital. Trade Code Works does not provide investment advice and does not recommend trades, strategies, instruments, or account risk levels.
